Hi there, I’m Rachael.
I apply human-centered design methods to solving problems with technology for Michigan Medicine's clinical business units and medical education programs.
I believe that when whole teams navigate complex business problems together, they make better decisions about solution design, architecture, and planning. As a researcher, I demystify user research and involve my teammates across functions in analysis and testing. As a designer, I facilitate accessible ideation sessions and operate as a vessel for vetting new ideas with sketches, wireframes, and lightweight prototypes. When I’m not working alongside my team, I advocate for user-centric product development methods with management and stakeholders.
I bring my human-centered design skills to all stages of the software development life cycle with just-enough research, collaborative ideation, and an iterative approach to product design.
